When i was a kid, my favorite part of projects was "looking stuff up"

Arthur W. Page Society Case Study Submission

In Fall of 2019, I contributed to this case study written for the Page Society Case Study Competition.

This case examines DICK’s Sporting Goods’ policy change around assault-style rifle sales through the lens of corporate character and corporate social advocacy (CSA), illustrating the implications CSA has on brands regarding national attention, consumer feeling, and financial impact.

Adler Planetarium Brand Audit

Conditional/Consequential Matrix

One of the electives I took was CMNS 581: Qualitative Research Methods. While in this class, I conducted a 45-minute in-depth interview, transcribed and coded the data, and created a Conditional/Consequential Matrix to articulate my grounded theory. Finally, I wrote a rich description of the company my interviewee worked for.

End Pain, Not Lives Framing Analysis

Abstract

This case study provides a framing analysis of the End Pain, Not Lives campaign launched by Americans for Safe Access in conjunction with the U.S. Pain Foundation. Using Snow and Benford’s (1988) theoretical framework of framing resonance, we will analyze how the campaign undertook its core framing tasks. The purpose of this study is to understand the framing efforts of this campaign and its potential impact in positioning cannabis as a desirable alternative to opioids.
